Lookups are anonymous

When you look up a phone number, we don't record who searched for it. We log aggregate request counts for capacity planning (Vercel-level metrics), but no per-user search history.

Reports are public + pseudonymous

Reports submitted via /report are public — the phone number, category, comment, and (optionally) your US state appear on the lookup page. We never display your email, IP, or any identifier tying the report back to you.

Internally we store a one-way hash of your IP for abuse prevention. We never store raw IPs and we never share or sell hashes.

Email signups

If you sign up for the weekly area-code digest, we store your email and the area code you subscribed to. Double-opt-in is required. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email — the unsubscribe link is permanent and works with one click.

No sale of data

We do not sell user data, email addresses, or aggregate lookup patterns to advertisers, data brokers, or any third party.

Cookies

We use the minimum cookies needed for the site to function. No ad-tracking cookies, no cross-site tracking.

Data deletion

Email subscribers can self-unsubscribe at any time. Reports are append-only — once submitted, a report cannot be deleted, but it can be flagged for review (and excluded from public display) by emailing support@spamblockreport.com.
